Who wants to see my big mushroom?

Boletus edulis, sprouting up under the pine trees on the golf course, five minutes walk away.
I tried to pose Mrs Spat sitting beside them to make them look smaller, but she went away over the fence to break things next door.

 UPDATED with more cooperative Siamese.
Would it be very wrong to carve the large lopsided one into the shape of a liver and eat it with fava beans?

  2. You know, Laura would probably book a flight to the antipodes just to stomp on those 'shrooms.

  3. SO JEALOUS. I only get oysters because I threw the spawn out myself. Also spread morel and wine cap but no joy.

  4. Those look excellent.

    Tigris, try plug spawn, I've had excellent results with oysters and shitakes;

    Tigris, try plug spawn, I've had good results with both oysters and shitakes.

  8. I am a Siamese and I endorse these psychotropic mushrooms. You are in my power, puny humans!
