ReplyDeleteYes you can beat a pony to the bottom of a mineshaft, you would just have to be very streamlined, or in an aerodynamic fairing. The only time you cannot beat a pony to the bottom of a mine shaft would be if the mineshaft were empty of air, in which case you could manage at least a tie.

ReplyDeleteAh yes, the slightly less well-known Schrödinger's pony. A lot of people don't know he used pit ponies and wells first. Cats in boxes require much less cleanup.
