Anyone can pull up a few grotesque images from that Renaissance tradition where a kind of proto-teratology was struggling to free itself from the older paradigm of Portents and anti-papist allegories. It takes a really obsessive, fucked-up individual to collect all dozen or so renditions of the same apocryphal deformity from all the encyclopediasts who plagiarised one another, and then turn them into an animated GIF.
