Well in terms of New Zild sports teams names, we cannot past the troubles that afflicted the NZ Badminton team The Black Cocks Ha ha can't you take a joke etc. etc.
Black Caps, Herr Doktor.Thus we can make jokes about them through their name e.g. Flat cats, Blocked craps etc. The Black sticks is teh Hockey team, who win quite frequently, unlike the so-called cricket team

Originally they were called the Albinos, but TV commentators could never decide whether to pronounce it "al-BEE-nos" or "al-BY-nos".

ReplyDeleteNew Zealand's N*cl**r-Free Zone legislation is so strict that we are not even allowed to type the word, let alone pronounce it.
