This guy, Rodney Hide, is the leader of the harder- than- hard Right wing party the ACT party. Supposedly it is the Concerned Citizens Tax party or some such malarkey but former Prime minister David Lange had it summed nicely as "Accountants and Tax Cheats". Acronym spelling is not a strong point down here.
Hide made his name by calling himself The Perkbuster so it is super hypocritical to now say that he "just forgot".
This is very typical of the creeparse government we have now. At least the former government didn't pretend to be fiscally prudent.
The bottle is then riddled, so that the lees settles in the neck of the wine bottle... Manual riddling is still done for Prestige Cuvées in Champagne... mechanised riddling equipment (a gyropalette) is used instead. (Wikipedia)
