She was the best cat ever. I will always miss her unique feline perspective on things, and her important role as an alarm clock. She was the third best thing in my life after the Frau Doktorin and the Doktorling.
Ah, I’m so sorry. Spent an hour last weekend recapturing our youngest after her big brother pushed her out the door. She hates the outside. They’re such darlings…the little shits.
In her heart she was always convinced that she was still a tiny shivery kitten who could fit inside my dressing-gown beside me if she squeezed enough. This was enough to convince me that I was also 16 years younger. Without her, the illusion is shattered.
A once-in-a-lifetime cat. I suppose a lot of people don't even get that. Still, dead inside without her.
Hello Smut Clyde, You've always been doing a veery interesting reporting on many things Science - please don't stop. Please go on. I've never been w/o a (pair of) cat(s) for 45 years now, and I think I can understand what you're through at the moment. And Margareth [16y - because of Thatcher - strong will] and Pepe [15y - The Pew] both agree. Please, please go on.
I'm sorry for your loss. Pets are never with us long enough.
