Someone has taken advantage of the gullibility of the Chinese authorities to pass off an early xkcd comic as a Naxi
Dongba manuscript and sell it to the Kunming Museum.

You can tell it's an early strip. These days Randall Munroe would never commit the Godwin violation in the central top frame.
This is a whole new level of link whoring.
ReplyDeleteBut the dude still gets it from the big knife at the end.

ReplyDeleteYou're all wrong. This is PROOF of ALIEN INVASION!
ReplyDeleteThey were trying to show us the renewable energy sources of sun (via, apparently, anthropomorphic reflectors) and wind (there's a windmill in nearly every frame).
CAN'T YOU SEE IT?!
