  1. Duesseldorf? See the wharf dwarf? Damn, not enough Kliban on the net!

Alternate take... did you meet Iggy Pop and David Bowie?

  2. Good lord. What is WRONG with those people?

I wonder if it's as simple as all the beer, if there are longer term problems associated with the Ecstasy in the water supply or if it all has to be blamed on the electronica "music"...

  3. Also known as WTFitecture.

Still looking for the invention of clockwork bagpipes (since someone brought it up (perhaps they're hiding in the invention of clockwork bagpipes hentai)) and in the process ran into the fun rumor that Nero played the bagpipes.

    Bastard.

This has always been my excuse and I see no reason to change.

  5. It is such a tease to make hideous red-brick buildings look like they're falling down.

  6. ...actually, number three is kind of contrived, and teh diving board aspect in number four is a bit overdone.

  7. However, I feel that the lack of BOC lyrics in the title reduce the helping to an alarming extent.

  9. teh diving board aspect in number four

I suspect it's supposed to reflect the design of the cranes back when the area was full of wharves. And dwarves.

the lack of BOC lyrics in the title

  12. Frank Gehry strikes again. With that and its fally-down brick neighbour, he may have been referencing the stage design of "Cabinet of Dr Caligari" and that era of Expressionist film... or perhaps the Böttcherstraße in Bremen... or it could just be incompetence.

More and better photographs are available if you search Goofle Image for "mediahafen düsseldorf".

  13. Did we just see ZRM to admit to liking a Gehry building?

  14. I already admitted to liking the Art Gallery of Ontario, fish.
