Tricky- Black Steel
Tricky's cover of the Public Enemy number which fits in pretty nicely with the Book that I have just finished. "Black Like Me" by John Howard Griffin which I only heard about because of M Bouffant's blog. Hat tip to him.
It's a scary, scary book because it is so illustrative of the banality of evil and the way that black Americans lived under the oppression for every minute of every day.

That's a pretty scary book. Try The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. It's got an asylum scene that's hard to top.
Thanks Sub I will approach that book with caution.
It is the constant grinding down on the people that really hit me.
