Mr Tustin is still in two minds about whether he may have captured the first conclusive photographic evidence of a moose in Fiordland in more than 50 years, despite many people contacting him to say they believed he had snapped "the money shot".A Blogger Ethics Panel should be convened to discuss this breach of privacy.
Ken Tustin "has been searching for the elusive animal for nearly four decades".
The photo was one of about 5000 snapped by 13 motion-sensor digital cameras with infrared flash, which have been set up for the past 18 months on animal trails near Herrick Creek and Henry Burn, near Dusky Sound.I see no resemblance myself.[...]The last confirmed sighting of a Fiordland moose was by Robin Francis Smith, who photographed a moose cow at Herrick Creek in 1952.

"The search will continue. We'll keep going until we get 'the money shot'," he said.
I think we need to see a picture of its feet to check the resemblance.

It's true. I don't actually exist.
That moose is certainly surprised to be a moose.
Also: needs moustaches.
Good point.
it seems to be irradiated.
Are mooses really rare? Hmmm.
Did. Not. Know.
Do carry on...
Progeny of moose and red deer. Fiordlandmule.

Someone has spilled white fluid on its face.

They are in the far south alpine / fjordy corner of New Zealand. Some plonkers thought it would be a good idea to introduce a population there, to give the hunters something to hunt.

Maybe they should have gone all out and introduced some Tasmanian Tigers?
Too late now.

It ain't very stylish mousse, anyways.
My entry in the photo caption contest is:
"Oh yeeeah Rocky, that's what I like. Say my name...Whut the hey?!?!?! damned paparazzi!!!"
I can clearly see the zipper! This is a DOC issue moose scramble suit. A ruse to entice naive well heeled tourists into our lucrative tourist zones.

I believe that is what they meant by the "money shot" although I think it is called something else in the business.
I ask again, for my daighter's sake: what sound does a moose make?
also, I think in the "money shot" the moose is doing something else.

Ah, yes, the Upper Class Twit raises his tweedy head yet again.

Perhaps, but I prefer them well done.

Way too much bull-winkling going on.

Shooting a restrained bunny is harder than it looks.
