Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is our pleasure to inform you about the 3rd Cadaver Course on Tendon Transfers in Reconstructive Tetraplegia Hand Surgery that will be held between April 6-8, 2011 in Tokaj-Nyíregyháza, Hungary.

Our aim is to provide you with a reliable toolbox of operations that can be applied in the majority of reconstructions necessary in tetraplegia hand surgery. Therefore, much time will be spent on practicing surgical procedures in cadavers.

Cadaver hand surgery --
worst band-name EVAH

I'm not entirely sure how I found myself receiving this advice that by investing €650 I could spend next Easter operating on cold dead hands and drinking Hungarian wine.* I'm sure there are cheaper ways to to fulfill both ambitions.

* It's not as if there are even any twin studies involved.

Apparently, that babe was complaining about her nose itching and somebody said "Let me give you a hand".

I believe the second part of this quip would be something having to do with her saying "something something head first", but I'm honestly not at all certain I understand it myself...

Isn't Hungary, the country where a cannibal advertised for someone to eat...and someone actually answered his ad?

Regardless - i will sleep better tonight, knowing the strict criteria, and high standards that are required of hand surgeons, should i ever end up in Hungary with a tetraplegic hand that needs operating on.
