A key lesson from the Road Map is that the God of the Naxi People reserves special punishment for guys who refuse to stop and ask for directions.

...guys who refuse to stop and ask for directions.
Who are "All of us", Alex?
~
I refuse to comment on any entry in which material has been lifted from hackneyed, cliched stand-up routines. If you'd like me to engage, please talk more about how men and women are, like, totally different and how airline food sucks.
It looks to me like the Naxi people had not yet developed flexible knee joints (perhaps that's why the later Nazi people marched the way they did - remembering their Naxi heritage)
This means the Nayi people were the missing link, yes?
~
they're not really missing - they just refused to stop to ask for directions ... here they are!
So, was the Nazi interest in Aghartha due to their ripping off the Naxi's name?
Also, I totes think that "road map" has a real Popol Vuhy vibe.
Gods who need maps are perhaps letting the man behind the curtain show.
You'd think gods could get google directions on their smartyphones.
Sheesh...
Rediscovery of ball game and defeat of the lords of Xibalbá. Upon finding the father's equipment suspended from the ceiling, Hunahpú and Xbalanqué are also summoned to Xibalbá for playing too boisterously. They outwit the lords and ascend to the night sky as constellations.
...not bad - not sure that I could be as resourceful if I discovered my father's equipment suspended from the ceiling.
Upon finding the father's equipment suspended from the ceiling
This is why we keep the basement "playroom" locked.
