Run around in the radiation; run around in the acid rain

Sound-track for Jennifer:

Inquiring minds cannot help noting how closely Andrew Eldritch has modelled his style in Dominion upon that of the blogger of Random Babblings.

Here, are you taking the piss or something?

"Take the piss" may be a reference to a related (and dated) idiomatic expression, piss-proud. This is a vulgar pun referring to the morning erections men frequently experience, which have long been popularly attributed to arising from a full bladder, and thus could be considered a "false" erection. In a metaphoric sense, then, someone who is "piss-proud" would suffer from false pride, and taking the piss out of them refers to deflating this false pride, through disparagement or mockery.

Just as the Intuits have hundreds of different words for Snow, citizens of the Commonwealth seem to have developed a highly nuanced understanding of 'piss'...

I now have the reference material to prove it. I must say that "piss elegant" and "piss easy" suggest an ambiguous relationship with the stuff.

Don't even get me started on the spitiesi.

The Intuits are a small tribe of indigenous people of the north slope who have, over the centuries, developed a popular methodolgy for tracking and then managing the seals that you have killed and the blubber you have accumulated.

As a subset of Inuits, they are small, weak,nerd-like and tend to have more seals and blubber than you will ever dream of. They have many very fat wives, and dood, until you've seen a five thousand square foot igloo you really have no idea how to calibrate #Winning and @Losing...
