Speaking of shout outs, I'll be fucked if the best parts of that new Muppet movie aren't songs written by Bret McKenzie.
Not that it's worth seeing, really, but after the opening number I was wondering if it could be the best Muppet-related entertainment EVER.
Is he related to Bob and Doug McKenzie?

She just found it Wiley, did not write it or nothing. But I do tend to think of her as fabulous anyway.

Yeah, once you get past the opening scenes and the first song in The Muppets there's a rapid decline, which is sometimes relieved by a good bit, but mostly not.
It is an incredibly maudlin movie after the first scene. Although the "I'm out of breath because I just finished my musical number" made me laugh out loud.
I just want to see Amy Adams working with Muppets.
I may start a website with that premise, and possibly a newsletter.
