For guest to start off the discussion

A comment has been made at alicublog by a poster called guest. I have invited guest to Riddled so that we can better discuss the subject of humour blogs and the concept of "other". Please feel free to comment yourself.

Wow, jaw on floor.

.....just for starters.

I totes resent that; I've never asked for money. Hell, I've turned money down when it was offered.

Sorting out the extra commands to read the thread is more than I can be arsed doing, from this Deutsche e-mail cafe computer where all the keys are in the wrong place.

Brave of Smut to try interwebbing whilst upsidedown.

Guest is probably Provider's very own troll, and asking for one of those to attach itself might not be wise. I could be wrong but I think there may have been some acts of real malice come from those quarters. Which is fine if you're completely anonymous, but otherwise can be trouble.

There was a "Guest" who commented at Sadly, No! maybe two, three years ago. Same, not same?

Sub, you are correct. Also tried to bait Jennifer, though i'm not sure that he/she stalked her though.

I can't say for sure, but probably a different person. This one seems to read S,N! with relish, but to my knowledge has only commented a couple of times and usually using the Sally persona, granted I may have missed some as I haven't read all of the threads lately.

In any event I picked this one up at Balloon Juice, and apparently my crime was in suggesting that Republicans tend to be stupid and evil and need to be mocked with pointed finger and laughter. which of course makes me a Racist, Hypocrite and double-plus Dummy.

I often wonder if one employed wingnut calculus to a real problem like say, the digging of a ditch, what they might end up with.

He just doesn't understand your upside-down humour (sic), old chum. He shan't be commenting here, for fear of falling off the face of the blogosphere.

Sick humour is it? Why you fancy schmancie upsidedonwies with your big city ways!

I'm pretty fascinated by what guest finds bizarre. It seems that anyone who does not live in his lily white cul du sac, or, heck, in his house is some kind of freakish other.

He so perfectly sums up the mindset of the modern wingnut, it's beautiful in its own way.

Smut Clyde said...

I do not want to think about Guest's "lily white cul".

tigris said...

Ok, think about his "lily white sac" then.

Dr.KennethNoisewater said...

"cul de sac" is also a thing.

I'll stop talking about sacs.

M. Bouffant said...

Guest's "lily white cul".
Anal bleaching?

Hamish Mack said...

It's all sacs and drugs with you people.

Hamish Mack said...

Come on fish, this Riddled! Cue Yakkity Sacs

zombie rotten mcdonald said...

I think fishie was going for the "sax and violins"

If only he had a blog where he could foster this kind of clever wordplay!

Hamish Mack said...

Well, I dunno why but people have been coming to look at this thread. I blame fish.
Or the sac content.
