"Obelisks?" "Well you know. Ladies who weren’t quite respectable."

I do not rate for any obelisk-stealing scheme involving "fleet of flying saucers with little curly tails" or "large numbers of strap-on JATO rockets", is all I'm saying. Nor am I convinced as to the practicality of the "Lifted aloft and flown away with by Rogue Angels" plan.

And has no-one considered hiring a menhir delivery man who can simply use his superhuman strength -- the result of falling in a cauldron of magic potion as an infant -- to fling the monument?

Below: Aftermath of menhir delivery gone wrong

UPDATED with Bonus Luftballon scheme for mikey and B4.

Sure, potion power...but do not forget boar and music powers!

You need to report everything you know about this to ObeLeaks.

Yes, I can see the downside risk posed by using JATO bottles - in a shocking lack of foresight, most of them have been built with no inertial guidance mechanism whatsoever.

But what about a bunch of GIANT HELIUM BALLOONS? Like maybe 99 of them, and say, if they were red they'd have much higher visibility aloft. There's been plenty of test flights of lawn chairs to know that this process can get the job done.

Mikey's obelisk sounds like it requires a lot of effort to get aloft.

Actually, that was yesterday. Today I'm actually trying to interest you in writing a review of the Historia Arcana, hopefully to include a previously unpublished interview with Theodora...

She's like Angelina Jolie but with more geese...

And allow the thread to degenerate into a slanging match between mikey and ZRM about the relative merits of rival chariot teams? I do not think so.

I seem to recall that Doctress Neutopia vigorously objected to the construction of some sort of "scrotal annex" to a tower on the UMass Amherst campus. She does think muchly about architecture. Or is trying to figure out a way to stalk Paolo Soleri, whatever.

Oh, good heavens no. I'd truly HATE to see a Riddled thread degenerate in any way. I truly shudder at the thought.

Also, too, this is one of those cases where the cover version is better than the original.

Y'know, when tigris chooses to discuss my obelisk it makes me feel funny "down there"...

Smut Clyde said...

I was not previously aware of Doctress Neutopia and am not sure whether to thank Narad to bringing her to my attention.

Paoli Soleri is HOTT.

And also insane.

And allow the thread to degenerate...

How could you tell?

..."scrotal annex" is my new fav phrase - my goal will be to use it in casual conversation forthwith

Well Duh ZRM, when we ban folks.

Has that ever happened?

Smut Clyde said...

We not only banned them, ZRM, we removed all trace that they had ever existed.

Hmm, there is a curious confluence of obelisks between upsidedownland and Corvallis

Hey, as long as it gets more Nena on the t00bz, I'm all for it. Hubba hubba!

Shouldn't there be an asterix marking this sentence?
