No fair! I spent several hours scouring a recently logged area a couple days back and got skunked. I don't think it's warm enough yet around here.

There are rumours of morel sightings in NZ but I suspect them of apocryphality. No luck with porcini today. I did score a Calvatia craniiformis that bears a remarkable resemblance to the B^4 head, and some of it is going on mah pizza tonight.
