However, it turns out that “covfefe” doesn’t actually mean “I will stand up” in Arabic, and multiple users flooded the forums to point out that this is a faulty translation that was cribbed from Google Translate.

You can't blame Goofle Translate for the "faulty translation". Some bullshit artist came up with that, knowing that the RWNJs would guzzle down the puke and never test whether it was true.
Trust me, I typed 'covfefe' into Translate to see if enough repetitions would break the neural network and produce some poetry, and it never did produce "I will stand up".
It's Kurdish. You need to break it into single syllables.
