World Cup Review and wraaaaaaaap

As the sun sets on another World cup, unencumbered by annoying poor people, it is time to summarize the results.
1. Spain won
2. Everyone else lost OH NO THEY DIDN'T!!
3. I have a new persistant ringing in my ears.
4. Best comedy team award goes to ...France!! The World Cup for Clowns is next year guys.
5. A roundhouse kick to the chest is no substitute for good manners.
6. The half time entertainment in the final was watching the TVNZ people trying to find something to say about a first half that would suck the living soul from a Kraken.
7. How long before the USA has it's OWN World Cup and no one else can come.
8. Thank you South Africa, tourism may increase a bit. Stadiums, skateboarding ramps. Gnome Sayin'?
9.New Zealand was robbed
10. Another 4 years eh Ingerland? Oh wait... they'll be just as useless then, Hah hah.

  5. unencumbered by annoying poor people

In Brazil they may have to speed up stadium construction, but they're ahead of schedule in poor people containment.

  7. A kick in the ribs
    can be quite detrimental,
and finals are a fan's worst friend.
    But cross kick or roundhouse
    the pain is fundamental
And finals are a fan's worst friend.

  9. A man by the name of Van Bommel
The Spaniards he tended to pummel
With his field mate De Jong
    Making tackles too strong
But in the end they were left feeling dummel

  10. I would have hoped for a gratuitous reference to Hummels.

  11. A man by the name of Van Bommel
Whose style is distinct from Mats Hummels'
With his field mate De Jong
    Making tackles too strong
But in the end they were left feeling dummel
