Horror movie sneak preview

The poor dude awakens from a drug-induced stupor to find himself stranded by his kidnapper in the centre of a labyrinth of concentric whorls like a fingerprint. For extra suspense, belatedly realising that the task of tracing a path around the whorls was actually within the realms of practicality, an angel has snagged him with a fishing line and is trying to pull him off balance and into the abyss. Non Angeli, sed Angleri. Feckin angels are nasty little buggers and the concept of "fair play" is alien to them.

We are encouraged to sympathise with the blind character whose seeing-eye dog has steered him safely through the maze so far, so they'll probably be knocked off at about the 1-hour mark.

The plot betrays an unacknowledged debt to Robert Bloch's "The Learning Maze". I am SHOCKED by the lack of originality.

I think that guy's seeing-eye angel has made a break for it.

Myself, I prefer simpler mazes.
