Egil Skallagrimsson has an Enticingly Large Forehead

I was talking the other day with Mauricio Santos-Lobos, author of The Spider Glyph in Time, and the subject of Egil Skallagrimsson came up.
"Mauricio," I says, "the great thing about us liberal communist fascists is that we have the integrity to NEVER COVER EGIL'S SKULL WITH ANIMATED SPIDERS."

And he says "The fact is you are wrong and the external female genitalia are thought of as a spider because the image introduces the element of time, the time to spin a web, the spider's clock." *
Old fever-wracked Santos-Lobos has a one-track mind.

* Marianne Faithfull has evidently read his book:
Why'd ya do it, she said, when you know it makes me sore,
'Cause she had cobwebs up her fanny and I believe in giving to the poor.

Eye sockets and the long-legged one makes for a fab mustachio.
