Speaking of incomprehensible

No, not my "humour" it's Chris Muir and the wretched Day by Day cartoon. I think the speech bubbles from some other cartoon series got mixed up with whatever Muir sent to Korea on that day.
Suggested Replacement dialogue:
Her "So Artichokes are on special this week?'
Him:" You don't want to eat them they'll go straight to your shoulders"
Him:"Get fat and I'll leave you"
Her: "Get me the Twinkies"

Conservatives aren't funny.

Not on purpose, at least.

It's like he thinks he should be funny but doesn't know how so just writes anything he can think of and has the structurally impossible women around. Earlier in the week he had one on them inna bubble bath and had an overhead view. She wasn't actually saying anything the coffee coloured guy was droning on about something or another,oh yeah "The Tea Party is good because..." while the picture was of the girlie in the bath. Weird shit but a good gig if you can get it

I think that that is as good as explanation as any for what is going on in the strip.

So wait, is Muir implying Boehner's a RINO?

He may well be. It could be the price of Bok Choy in Ho Chi Min City for all I know.

the structurally impossible women

I'm just reading a critical analysis of fin de siècle art where the author devotes a chapter to paintings of naked young ladeez bending their spines around in anatomically-improbable poses as an expression of their yielding nature... "the nymph with the broken back", he calls the theme.
Chris Muir comes to mind every time.

That's the most awkward hand-holding I've ever seen, and he didn't even use it as a chance for a boob shot. I don't get it.
