It seems that some ungrateful actors are wishing to be paid for the privilege of being in a movie made by Sir Peter Jackson the wretches. Not only will it cause tears at bedtime, it already has Hollywood running scared according to a person who said:

"It sure feels like our thuggish Aussie cousin is kicking sand in our eyes ... or to put it another way, they are opportunists exploiting our film for their own political gain."Yikes, will the jackboot in the face of New Zild, of actors wanting to get paid in something other than tins of dog food kill off the film industry??? Sir PJ says that Eastern Europeans will do the film if we don't and also that it's not fair.

First I have heard of anyone anywhere wanting to exploit something to gain something. Thank god Mr. Jackson is above such base motives.

Surely the real "Mexicans with cellphones" would be Mexicans.
Come now, Merc, Hollywood studios need our subsidies and tax-breaks in order to make movies here. Sure, they may not pay any tax, but without those studios, the NZ film industry would wither away and we would lose the infrastructure and expertise required for losing money on movies in the future.
