Let the record show that I was opposed to banana-related transgenic research right from the start.
"It'll be fine," Another Kiwi vouchsafed. "The retrovirus for the gene transfer is a modified strain that can't replicate in the wild; and even if it did, there's no earthly reason why the reverse-transcribed banana DNA should integrate into reproductive cells. And we'll be following a Level-4 biological containment protocol in the lab, and Mrs Cat won't possibly want to use the cat-door, she's only just gone out."
I didn't argue for fear of a repetition of last month's unfortunate incident with the Taq-polymerase reagent left "accidentally" in an unlabeled akvavit bottle in the Riddled fridge. Just saying, when the angry mob turns up with the pitchforks and the flaming torches, I know nothing about it.

Is there a tag for "Another Kiwi's fault"?
And if not, why not?
~
"Fault" is such a negative connotation word, Thunder. How about "aspirational results for other experiments"
Also this might be an avenue for research if the bananas don't work.
Peelings
Nothing more than peelings
Just saying, when the angry mob turns up with the pitchforks and the flaming torches, I know nothing about it.
In this case, the mob will show up with bottles of rum and blenders, and there will be no anger.
You've created a monster... a delicious, delicious monster.
I was thinking giant Bananas Foster, but you would probably need to gut the dog first.
s there a tag for "Another Kiwi's fault"?
And if not, why not?
A tag that has to be appended to every post begins to lose it's usefulness as a limiting agent.
