It's a shame to dissappoint them

This week's big winner in search terms has been "Mimic Octopus" and it is a shame to get people here only to find that it refers to Friday Cephalopoda karaoke at The Old Entomologist. So I present the latest research on this amazing creature.
Here we see the Cartoon Dragon Octopus. Luring overworked Pixar animators to a tentaclular ending.
This is the Struts Sierra Octopus that is most commonly seen at "Furry" conferences in Las Vegas. We make no judgements on this site.

Finally we see the most dangerous mimic octopus, The Chocolate Fish Mimic which lures unwary contest winners to a squid meal they will forget. As they say, "There's a hook edged, poison injecting, sucker along every second."

But it's a delicious, chocolatey hook edged, poison injecting, sucker.

Those knee-nipples on the C.D. Octo are esp. alluring.

It's just a dirty trick when they mimic my keys and then refuse to mimic them again.
