White on white translucent black capes

Here's Ludwig Wittgenstein, getting it wrong on the subject of colour transparency:

(it appears from #146 and #153 that Wittgenstein had never encountered fog).

You know who else had strong opinions about coloured transparency??
The evidence is overwhelming that de Selby and Ludwig Wittgenstein were the same person. Both were obsessed with mirrors and "had some interesting things to say on the subject of houses". Certainly they were never seen together in the same room.
Is it about a zombike?

Remarks on Colour is generally considered a very difficult work...

...yeah - do we have to know this stuff for the exam?

De Selby held that night was an accretion of "black air" and he got his philospophy from examining old cinematograph films.
If Greenish Hugh was not already ensconced as the Chairman of the Olde Entomologist Science Club, due to the FIFA approved pre-voting process, I would be voting for De Selby.

Maybe De Selby can be president of the O.E. Audio-Visual Society?

Mr Thundra must be aware that the chair of the O.E.A.V.S is an anonymous office and changes on a random basis. This explains why we have had Milo and Otis one week and the 2000 restoration, five and a half hours,'Napoleon', the next week.

Hmm, what were Wittgenstein's thoughts on water piping?

Milo & Otis was deep.

Wittgenstein's thoughts on water piping
The Stonborough House has been described as 'the most water-piped edifice in the world'. Even in the living-rooms there were upwards of ten rough farmyard taps, some with zinc troughs and some (as those projecting from the ceiling and from converted gas brackets near the fireplace) directed at the unprotected floor. Even the gas pipes were connected up with this water system and would gush strongly at any attempt to provide the light.
