"Dali" and "de Nerval" are very similar names so you can understand the confusion.

After Carrington and Bourgeois and Tanning I was wondering about the longevity of women surrealist artists of that generation. Turns out, though, that this is a selection bias. The average life-span was an unremarkable 80 across the 12 artists I could think of (dragged down by Unica Zürn, Remedios Varo and Kay Sage).
