All this fuss about a guy in the Netherlands who turned his dead cat into a four-rotor helicopter. He is merely following a time-honoured Dutch tradition, as was revealed at Riddled nearly a year ago. But do we get any credit? DWBR.
Here a Dutch couple from about 1477 are so devoted to their pet carnithopter that they skin it and use its hide as a hang-glider.
When the Dutch have no pets to use in aeronautical taxidermy, they are known to steal the heads of dead intellectuals and hollow them out as small hot-air balloons. It is a strange and barbaric culture.
UPDATED with bonus skin-kites stolen from Jim Lloyd.
