Sometimes Boing Boing becomes the all-Talking Heads channel, not that there's anything wrong with that.
"My favourite version of Psycho Killer," Another Kiwi vouchsafed, "is the instrumental cut they recorded accompanied by El Manquecito playing the Servais Stradivarius violin. No vocals because the band's front-man got the dates mixed up and spent the day somewhere else puttering about on his bicycle. It was never released commercially."
"Why not?" I wondered.
"The management was criticised for 'Fiddling while Byrne roams'."

AHEM!, Mr. S.C. (IF that is your real name!!!)
~
Droll
It's a cello.
The Stradivirus takes the eyes first.
Kiwis, please! That Talking Heads crap was completely over the second this came out.
Tigris has spotted the deliferate misteak and wins the poke with a stick from Otto Klemperer.
Although I had to cover that song scores of times I didn't have to sing it, just make Belew-like distortion slides on the lap steel with no poncy grimacing required. I could play the same part on a cello.
Trigger alert level; narrowly averted.
