This Liparis reinhardti or Arctic sea-tadpole (a.k.a. snailfish) -- largest of the careproctus fishes* -- is unclear on the threat posed by fish-eating deer. It is disguising itself with a human-skull mask, unaware that this makes it if anything more attractive to the deer.
I think I have a new gravatar.
* Careproctus = face-anus, named after the suction disc underneath their heads, formed from the pelvic fins.
