This new year’s eve was the final barrier

"Can I have the rest of the owl suit back yet, Mistress? I've carried your strap-on for you, and performed all of your demands, even the business with the candles and the broomstick which was frankly rather embarrassing."

"Silence, slave. How dare you speak after that half-arsed job of cleaning the bathroom. For your temerity you can wear the poison-ivy leaves for another night, and be thankful it's not the arrow again."

We do not judge the Furry lifestyle, or the Dominance / Submission scene for that matter, but combining the two must make it hard.
Let me rephrase that.

We should probably be talking about staging an intervention, but you can't use the word 'stage' around here without someone reviving the recriminations about the unpaid cleaning bills from the last Riddled Amateur Dramatic Society production.

Ah those happy days of yesteryear when the Ornithology/Botany staff meetings meant something. Professor Owl would point to each speaker with the Arrow of Truth and Professor Ivy would punish those who made misleading statements. Some say that there were those who welcomed the Strap-on of Corrections. Some say that the Bitter Root of Bitterness was falsely given to people whose ideas did not mesh with the dominant paradigm.
But overall they were a jolly good lark.

I bet that guy knows how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.

Obviously Ornithology/Botany staff meetings have been infiltrated by COMMUNISTS.

Overdo the scorpions and you're surprised at a little mess?

Overdo the scorpions

"Scorpions" is clearly a misprint for "Serapion Brotherhood", which certain E.T.A. Hoffmann fans are currently agitating for RADS to stage next.

I have Antonin Artaud's Collected Works in front of me -- Calder & Boyars edition, V. Corti trans. -- in which The Spurt of Blood is pp. 62-65. You might very well think that Smut Clyde was once peripherally involved in the Blue Ladder production of The Cenci (music by Bill Direen & the Bilders) but I could not possibly comment.

Coincidentally I was peripherally involved in a production of A Jet of Blood and read a different collection of Artaud's writing.

Verdict after the performance: "It was a hoot!" The hand of God tipped over.
