It's never said at all On the map that Carrie reads

On January 1st 1738, aboard the Aigle, Captain Bouvet de Lozier took a short cut.

The lines on the page probably indicate origami folds but I for one will not be folding it to see what pops up.

Before the volcano erupted it was known as the Firth of Foreskin.

Hah!

That even cracked ME up!

And W/V takes the other perspective, and says "ovalin"

Fortunately the foreskin restoration fundamentalists will soon reclaim enough land to plant field after field of prepuces.

The characters have been chosen to suit most moods from the tender moth and graceful squid, to the vibrant rose, the noble horse, the expectant pig, the fun-loving fish, the jubilant cock, the private investigator, the flashy sports car, the exploratory space shuttle, the slobbering dog, the throbbing steam engine, the urgent fire engine and the ravaging dragon.

I learn and learn and learn, thanks to the innertoobz that Gawd gave us.

Okay so who apart from Smut Clyde is the BOC/Sandy Pearlman fanatic in here? And yes, I sort of see what M. De Lozier was trying to do here, although the triangulation strategy leaves a little to be desired. Then again, the seas around Bouvet Oyen are not very forgiving ;-)

Zombie Rotten Mcdonald at Empire of the Senseless" is a reliable source of BOC fanaticism!
