Leaky Building Syndrome

In the FUTURE, houses will be built with large sections of their walls missing. This will save money but it will let in the rainbow-coloured smog.

As another cost-cutting measure roofs will be made of tar and gravel, with a road-works crew from Fulton-Hogan spreading the tarmac in the weekend. The downside of this is the large gaps they leave (on account of smoko breaks, and a strong union) so you have to be careful when landing the personal gyrocopter. The students in the flat down the road seem to have stolen the road-cones.

Why will we have vintage cars in the future. Do they make the rainbow smog? The future is going to be quite complex, I think.

What are these "closets" you speak of?

AK, I think it's a Steampunk kind of thing.

Curious how the spring loaded toilet works.

I first read "gyrocopter" as "gynocopter," and I was like "Finally! The Gynocracy takes power! All you penis-havers will feel the lash of our pink whips in the future!" but them I saw it wasn't that and now I'm so disappoint.

I'd like to see more pictures of the dumb waiter's shaft.

I suspect the smog is rainbow-colored due to the Neon Sunlight, or perhaps Ritchie Blackmore's farts. But that's not science, just a theory.

Also, too, the fact that the beds are only partially suspended is a matter of some concern. It would be very nice if we could find a zombie architect with time on his hands to look into this whole suspension issue...

That part came true, I've walked on quite a number of those.

Can't say I've ever been terribly clear on the contribution of the gravel...

Cos Hugo Gernsback said so!

I also question the wisdom of rubber chairs when surely the people of the future could use the miracle substance flubber.

Compensation for deficits in one area with strength in another IS A MYTH!!!

Does mikey really want me to break out the Explaining Voice on this?

I guess I could get into the Sailor Jerry's this evening and then take all my anger out on all of you.

Depends.

Is it interesting in a "How it's Made" kinda fashion or boring in a "blah blah blah" kinda way?

'Cause I'm a total geek but I will admit to a very short attention span...

I often encounter the same question about my home baking.
