One tin soldier rides away

Politics is, of course, a risky business. Not many have the staying power for it and very few are good at it. Someone with staying power is New Zilds former head of Treasury, Don Brash. Brash has been commented on in this blog before because he is the head of that committee what gets $100,000 plus , a year to  tell their friends "What I would do, if was the Gubblement". Now Brash is doing it in a speech.
But it is not just any speech, it is the specialist speech that any boy could give because it is in OREWA (pronounced: place of many angry, old, white folks).
Doom gave his bestest speech evah, evah there in 2004 which was only 2 years before the ungrateful public who did not understand Doom's vision and such, dumped him at the polls. And he resigned from leader of the National Party leader and they won the next election so we got the current kewpie doll as prime Minister (hewo, are you my friend?).
Said PM doesn't even bother too much with Doom's prognostications and brushed off the angrified whining. So whattaya going to do, Don, now that no one is listening except the same circle jerk of rabid badgers that always were?

The US is large enough that a constant drumbeat from the people who are nuts just can't be avoided. Stay small little upside-downy types!

Met a bunch of mates for a Christmas Curry (from the novel by Dhal Chickens) and it was amazing how many of them were acquainted, in one capacity or another, with Dunny Brush, and how little each and every one of us thought of him.

He does seem to be carving a niche for himself of Man Alone ( NZ lit. reference), on a street corner, talking to people that no one else can see.
